In fact ,it looks like it's a different size, and the mounting holes will be different (for other readers, mine is the second photo): https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/ACtC-3dkWn3xb4EOPzLs-jIA2MkvFPKTn79ChvYRbUBe0YU0qEHwX3mp6mRzQItVuJKyubvxsALYUZwm1x0ifDQOxLtsuuq-k1cbCUT_CdE2VtjYxGP97-Rfi35bktw8e...
I have a spare one of these somewhere... I'll do a tidy up and see if it turns up. It turned up today, along with my clamp meter that I've been searching for  The part number is 9499A648. Under that is G8D-803M. So that doesn't sound very promising, sadly. It has a 5-pin connector, and of cou...
i think there is a forum thread with pictures and schematics of the CMU board, i remember seeing this Yes, one by that helpful Kiev chappie :D http://myimiev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=4302 Edit: only a couple of partial schematics are traced, but one happens to involve the auto-numbering c...
Duh. The capacitor voltage is obviously declared too low (whether it really is or not), because of the trouble code. So forget what I said about the main contactor not working. A final thought: maybe when that trouble code is asserted, the EV ECU does something to quickly discharge the DC bus: perha...
Maybe the capacitor has a decreased capacitance and is not 800 microfarad due to aging? If it has, it will only make the pre-charge process faster. It may have excess leakage, but I don't expect that from a film capacitor (if that's what it is). if they are the same, and still the EV-ECU receives o...
Charger set to charging voltage 14.40 V. After battery was fully charged, Voltage 13.15V. Does your charger do a proper absorb charge, or just stop when the battery voltage reaches 14.4 V? It should keep the battery voltage at 14.4 V or so for long enough that the charge current drops to a low valu...
The charger in the car is a single a phase, 230V, the same as we all possess but I made a mind experiment to power this imiev’s AC cable from 3 phases, 400VAC rectified by a half bridge composed of just 3 diodes into a direct current. I see two problems with this idea, neither of which may be fatal...
centex wrote: what differences are there compared to the original battery?
As far as I know, the only difference will be the LEV50N cells, replacing the original LEV50s. The Ns are a fair improvement, but that's it as far as I know.
