Re: Pretty Good Level 2 EVSE for Less Than $200

umm, mine does not work that way. When I plug in the 6-20 plug to the outlet without plugging into the car, the Ready/Charge light is off, only the power light is on. I think mine is the same. I never unplug it, so my power light is always on. Before plugging in the charge handle, I have just the P...

umm, mine does not work that way. When I plug in the 6-20 plug to the outlet without plugging into the car, the Ready/Charge light is off, only the power light is on. The Ready/Charge light stays solid when charging, and when it's done with charging, it would still be solid green. It did not flash o...

Re: Pretty Good Level 2 EVSE for Less Than $200

I received the new 240v EVSE in a week. Quick shipping. I converted my outlet to 240v this morning and switched from the OEM EVSE to the 240v in the middle to charge to full. One thing I noticed is that I think this 240v EVSE does not have auto shut off after the car battery is full. I only charged ...

Re: Pretty Good Level 2 EVSE for Less Than $200

Thanks Don. I bought one. With recent eBay coupon and Chase PayPal cashbacks. I got it for $160 total, cheaper than doing the EVSE upgrade, and I can still have the OEM one for backup. I have a dedicated 20amp outlet in my garage. I will convert it to 240v. The seller said it doesn't support 120v. T...

Re: Used 2012 DCQC - Good Price?

Thanks! Maybe I am just too sensitive to noise. But to be safe, I’ll jack up the car to take a look at the bracket holding the AC compressor and those rubber feets as suggested in other thread. I might bring the car to the dealer to have them checking it out. Not sure how much they will charge for i...

Re: Used 2012 DCQC - Good Price?

Thank you for your responses everyone. Unfortunately, someone got to it before me. It was an interesting car because Google was the owner. It was not too far to make a trip there to take a look before buying it. Anyway, I found a 2012 SE premium under 20k miles. The dealer willing to sell it to me f...

Used 2012 DCQC - Good Price?

Our commutes have been less than 30 miles, and most of the time, it's just a few miles. I work from home, and the wife works half a mile from the house. So we don't want to put more stress on our 2013 Sonata Hybrid which we used it a lot for long distant travel. I have been looking for an used i-MiE...
