Re: i-Miev in Italy?

RR = 74km (46 miles) on a full charge ... Italian leadfoot!

Re: Charging Down Route 66

Rick had started a new thread to celebrate his successful completion of the Route 66 round-trip. Being concerned that the two threads would separate over time, I've merged the two. Rick's last day's mileage was 137 miles (per PM to me). The longest single-day's distance was 186 miles. Trip Data Spre...

Re: Trip is over.

Fantastic achievement and a tribute to your patience and tenacity!

Yeah, we all knew our great little car would make it with no problems, and delighted you didn't even get a flat tire.8-)

Re: Routeplanning: RV 27 Rondevegen over Venabygdsfjellet (Ringebu@E6 - Hanestad@RV 3)

elekTrond, thanks for posting. I like that routeplanner! My initial thoughts - 1. What a beautiful venue for an excursion! 2. The good news is that you should be able to travel as slowly as you wish 3. Don't even think of starting out without 100%SoC; try to figure out a less-expensive charging sche...

Re: Regen vs Neutral and speed for max range

Aerowhatt, thanks for doing the drag comparison. Hey, the only reason for this whole discussion is the aerodynamic drag effect! Well, I've been totally unsuccessful in trying to get any meaningful data by trying to keep the accelerator in a constant position and a constant speed. The combination of ...

Re: CHADEMO charge failure

...Looking on PlugShare, there is one unit in the town of Port Angeles, and that is an EVGo-looking unit (labeled Chargion) at Dan Wilder Nissan. The next closest unit appears to be Silverdale, WA. The one at the Nissan dealer is undoubtedly the one eldenh is talking about. At 69 miles, Silverdale ...

Re: CHAdeMO Questions

I recently noticed that EVRUS http://www.evrus.net is a relatively new player around here with CHAdeMO charging stations by hotels on major routes, so I applied for a charging card with them. Guess what: my card application was rejected and they refunded my PayPal $25! Reason: "Because the i-Mi...

Re: CHADEMO charge failure

Hi eldenh, thanks for posting. A number of questions off the top of my head, if I may - 1. What year i-MiEV? 2. Did you try removing and re-inserting the CHAdeMO connector? 3. What brand of EVSE? 4. Had you used this particular EVSE previously, successfully? 5. How often have you been using CHAdeMO?...
