Re: Chevy Bolt production version

Here's an assessment by a BoltEV owner who is also an i-MiEV owner (but perhaps not a member of this forum?) -

Re: GENTLEMEN. I need help.

Hi Mievo, thanks for your numbers. ...if not, it's a lemon by definition. It has a problem with a part that is covered by warranty, dealer refuses warranty work; lemon. I don't believe battery degradation is a warranty item. OTOH, Mitsubishi has been excellent about replacing the pack when an outrigh...

Re: GENTLEMEN. I need help.

Mievo, battery degradation, specifically, is not addressed by Mitsubishi. I wouldn't bother doing anything about it as it sounds as though there is no defective cell issue. If you are still unhappy with the car and you bought it at the beginning of May from a dealer, you might want to go back to tha...

Matt, welcome to the forum! We do have a number of Aussie members, including the developer of EVBatMon. With time, I'm sure you'll develop a feel for your usable range… what we say around here is that your range is whatever you need it to be - simply adjust your driving accordingly. Speed is by far ...

Re: GENTLEMEN. I need help.

Mievo, great news that your car's battery *appears* to be ok! Did the receipt you received from the dealer provide any details of what had been done to your car? Enquiring minds would like to know :geek: . Be sure to hang onto the paperwork just in case a problem develops in the future. With a five-...

Re: Charging Down Route 66

Rick had started a new thread to celebrate his successful completion of the Route 66 round-trip. Being concerned that the two threads would separate over time, I've merged the two. Rick's last day's mileage was 137 miles (per PM to me). The longest single-day's distance was 186 miles. Trip Data Spre...

Fantastic achievement and a tribute to your patience and tenacity!

Yeah, we all knew our great little car would make it with no problems, and delighted you didn't even get a flat tire.8-)

Re: Routeplanning: RV 27 Rondevegen over Venabygdsfjellet (Ringebu@E6 - Hanestad@RV 3)

elekTrond, thanks for posting. I like that routeplanner! My initial thoughts - 1. What a beautiful venue for an excursion! 2. The good news is that you should be able to travel as slowly as you wish 3. Don't even think of starting out without 100%SoC; try to figure out a less-expensive charging sche...
