Re: Supplemental cooling for the charger.

I was shocked, I tell you, I was shocked, as up until now I had considered the engineering on our i-MiEV to be excellent. It simply never occurred to me that, with liquid cooling, there would be any thermal issues, and certainly did not expect high case temperatures. I had simply assumed that Mitsub...

Re: Troubleshooting and repair for On-board Charger, DC-DC Converter

skylogger, thank you very much for sharing the details. Hoping for a technical troubleshooting breakthrough by our 'team'. In case anyone is interested, an expensive portable CHAdeMO unit may well be cheaper than a new charger from Mitsubishi, and at least offer the option of charging at home (or ha...

Re: ChargePoint Charging Question

databeestje, this thread is specifically about the ChargePoint brand EVSEs (ChargePoint being probably the most prolific supplier of public charging EVSEs here in the US). Is your comment about ChargePoint or some other brand of EVSE?

Re: Charging experience in the UK

Hi databeestje, sorry to hear of your charging issues. I didn't quite understand what you meant by this statement: Also, if you have activated the EVSE and are plugged in, does the car trigger the ventilation mode? Mine does, so it does actually detect the EVSE. It just won't charge. If the car is e...

Re: Admin: Posting Pictures on this Forum

Another input, this one from kiev from another thread: I use a free hosting site, imgur.com, for my pictures. They provide "get share links" for posting to forums which resize the photos to fit the page width. Just copy and paste the BBCode forum link from imgur into your message. Related ...

Re: Steering issue

Gotnocars, welcome to the forum. That's a strange one, as I don't recall any steering-related issues at all with our i-MiEVs. In addition to the questions jray3 posed, any other environmental oddities? Any change in the steering force? "...steady small clicks felt through the steering wheel...&...

Re: E-Vacation

Hi Jay, It was a pleasure hosting you and your wife, and glad you managed to see some of the local sights. "hacienda overlooking hundreds of acres of rolling nature preserve" is laying it on rather thick, as around here my house is considered a teardown but I am lucky with a nice view. Rig...

Re: So Long, Sold, Leasing a PHEV

DogMan12, sorry to see you go, and thank you for you past contributions to the forum. I have yet to get myself down the Mitsu dealer to look at the Outlander PHEV and check out its regen options and towing capabilities.

Re: First post and first problem (12V Battery Short)

:D That was easy! (Whew!)

I moved this thread over to the Battery subforum and added a brief descriptor to the title so we could find it in the future.
