Re: Outlander PHEV thread

I took the liberty of moving those posts to this thread, but can start a new topic... I preferred to leave the previous topic focused on the battery replacement issue. Love the Aussies! He provides entertainment and doesn't mince words. Bear in mind that Australian imported car prices are steep to b...

Re: Tesla-J1772 Adapter

Well, I purchased a TeslaTap. https://www.ebay.com/itm/142544249020 Works with both my Tesla HPWC and UMC. Seems well made. Although a bit pricy ($250), it allows me to use Tesla charging stations both at home and on the road with my i-MiEV. Plugshare shows around 750 Tesla (non-Supercharger) chargi...

Re: Failed traction battery. How many weeks does Mitsubishi make you wait?

obrother, can you find a way past the customer service representative in order to escalate the matter within the Mitsubishi organization? Surely there is someone there who understands the pseudo-technical nonsense that is being spewed and will realize what the outcome will be if it's taken to court....

Re: Upgrading Heating System - Independent Battery Source

So back to my test run... Great that you've got data for the "before" scenario. Looking forward to your installation which is environmentally 'cleaner' than the diesel heaters our northern brethren have been using. Where will you physically locate your 36v LiFePO4 battery pack? Do you thi...

Re: Optimum EV Charging and Electricity Consumption Time for GHG, TOU

Hi GdB, whereabouts are you located? You might update your profile so it shows up by your name: http://myimiev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3196 You mentioned SCE which I believe stands for Southern California Edison. Your post title is confusing to me, because Optimum TOU times are NOT necess...

Barbagris, my fairly old STN1170 from AH Design works just fine using CaniOn v141 and gives me Ah reading.

Re: Failed traction battery. How many weeks does Mitsubishi make you wait?

Oh for goodness sake! This is the first instance that I am aware of in North America that Mitsubishi has balked at the replacement of a defective battery pack. Of course, the negligible 12v power draw of the diesel heater has nothing to do with the main pack, as any competent professional engineer c...

Re: Future of Public EV Charging

Yes, I also got that 'invite' from Blink and rolled my eyes  and didn't bother reading the prospectus. On the one hand we can criticize EVgo for their pricing and Blink for their ongoing broken hardware, but on the other hand what desperately-needed public EV charging model works without some ...
