Re: Power loss after charging Peugeot Ion

So, theferdies, if I understand you correctly you have ONLY used CHAdeMO (dcfc) for charging your car. Presumably, the car stops charging when the level reached 13-14 bars and never reaches 100% charge? If I were the battery, I would say OUCH! Charging using CHAdeMO is very hard on the batteries. Co...

Re: iMiEV in 2021!

Looking good to me. This car contains the improved LEV50N cells and the CHAdeMO quick-charge port with associated battery cooling/heating system. I *think* the exterior mirrors are heated and it may also contained the redesigned OBC/dc-dc.

Re: factory looking clock on the dasboard - DIY

Here's how you make it show up:... wmcbrine, thank you for that. So, using imgur , to make an image show up we not only need to encase it with the Img brackets but prefix the imgur site URL with "i." after the two forward slashes, and provide a ".jpeg" suffix. I *think*, in foll...

Tiborx8, that's a very attractive modification!

I don't know why the picture doesn't show up using the Img brackets, so I added the URL for the picture itself to your post.

Re: VW ID.4 EV

Charging port on the right-rear like our i-MiEV (best location IMO). How do you figure?... wmcbrine, I agree that the front port location is good and am primarily dismayed by it becoming prevalent on the left side of the car. Thought I'd start a separate topic about this here and welcome further co...

EV Charging Port Locations

Thought I'd separate and put this somewhat controversial topic on the table, and I put it into this Other Electric Vehicles subforum as it may be a consideration when buying the next BEV. Let me reiterate why, in countries which drive on the right, IMO the right rear is preferable for a charging por...

mche, a belated welcome to the forum and sorry you parted ways with the i-MiEV. You posted in the right place, and what is most common is for those interested to simply send you a PM (Private Message), which should be linked to your regular email so you get notified if something comes in. In any cas...

Re: Power loss after charging Peugeot Ion

theferdies, welcome to the forum, and so sorry to hear of your weird post-charging situation. A few questions, if I may - 1) Do you have CHAdeMO and, if so, have you tried it with what results? 2) What year is your Ion and which battery pack size? 3) What is your Ion's mileage and have you measured ...

Re: DIY Windscreen Defroster

Yes, I see the photos! Thank you.

Dumb question: does the light-colored dashboard cover, combined with the defroster, not result in excessive reflections off the windscreen, especially at dawn or dusk?
