Re: Troubleshooting and repair for On-board Charger (OBC), DC-DC Converter

Thans for helping me. I will check the 12 V battery and the 14.6 V in the ready state , but i think it must be in good condition, as it drives the other electic parts such as, e-windows ... The EVSE is checked with other EV and it works fine. The main (tracking) battery is not empty ( 25 km is avai...

Re: hobdrive - new program for monitoring charge readings

I think you'll find not many people own post 2014 cars... the C-Zero and Ion in post 2014 versions are very rare compared to earlier cars.

Re: not charging my iON, cell or CMU or BMU problems

I've been reading the CMU firmware. ... In fact, it seems to me that this happens automatically any time that there is a certain type of error (I can't be certain about what type of error, and it was some time ago I that I found this). Automatic numbering like this seems unlikely - by what mechanis...

Re: Ah Rate And Full Charge

In my infinite wisdom, i drove the car until it stopped. I figured, I have AAA and may as well use it. When it stopped due to the computer believing it was at 0% soc, canion shows 337 total volts and 3.875 individual cell volts (no variation in individual cell voltage), and a total wh out of 11126 ...

Re: Is my battery dying ?

Howdy Simon, Here is a link to a Yuasa technical paper about the LEV50N, i think they are physically identical and could swap in with no problem https://www.gs-yuasa.com/en/technic/vol9/pdf/009_01_026.pdf Yes I think I've seen that paper before - not sure that I can interpret it well enough to answ...

Re: Is my battery dying ?

Quick question for those who have done cell swaps already or have intimate knowledge of the BMS or properties of the cells - do you think it would be safe and acceptable to fit a handful of LEV50N cells into an older car like mine with the LEV50 cells ? Has anyone actually substituted an LEV50N cell...

Re: [Solved: Piev's Strange New Pack] Voltage vs SOC graph or table ?

i think the capacity will never show greater than 48 Ahr even if you were to build a pack with 100 Ahr cells, at least until someone figures out how to change the "reset" value. Old post I know but linked from a new thread. :) The "reset" (battery replacement) procedure does ind...

Re: Ah Rate And Full Charge

Apologies if I’m breaking protocol. Beyond frustrated and seeking advice. After painstakingly obtaining a warranty replacement of my traction battery for my 2012 imiev, canion now shows a 25.5ah reading and the corresponding poor range you’d expect, similar to my prior battery. I returned to the de...

Re: Is my battery dying ?

Nice thread! My data to add won't be as pretty, but yesterday the HV warning lamp came on at the end of a drive that went from fully charged to one blinking bar and 12.5% SOC, no turtle, odometer 102,683 miles. The warning was due to code P1A4B, "Each Cell Voltage Difference". The highest...

Re: Single LEV50-cell wanted for our Citroen C-Zero

AleksM, glad the transplant worked. Congratulations, although I didn't quite understand if it was successful or not. transplantation is successful , but until the voltage equalizes the cells, the capacity is not recalculated You'll need to run the battery calibration procedure in Diagbox for the ca...
