Best way to Repair Paint Scratches On A White 2012

I have some scratches on the rear fender and rear door which has removed the white paint, but there is no body damage. Likely caused by a shopping cart. I have seen some videos on YouTube on how to repair them. Annoying, but not extremely significant, I was wondering if any have had their car with a...

Re: Couldn't shift past R - very strange

The cable running from the gear shift lever goes to the left side of the transmission housing at the rear of the car. It is likely that lubricating the lever on the left side of the transmission housing where the shift cable attaches will solve your problem. The link below shows the left side of the...

Re: new program for monitoring charge readings

I found a reference to the update at this Russian site.

Although the thread was started in 2012, the first post has likely been updated.

Re: How Well Does My Remaining Range Compare With Other Older Cars?

Rather than being a measure of battery capacity, RR simply reflects the driving conditions surrounding the previous 15 miles. ------------------------------------------------ I still defy anyone to predict what their full-charge RR number will be. Of course for varying driving conditions I agree, b...

Re: High Voltage (HV) 50A fuse

@ imiev (in reverse) If the fuse is missing or blown, then no HV would be present outside of the pack on the (+) wire of the G20 connector that runs to the A/C compressor/inverter. If the G20 is just disconnected from the inverter but the fuse was present and intact, then HV would be present outsid...

Re: A/C sticker shock

One other thing, almost too obvious, but there is a 50A fuse inline to the AC from the pack--surely they checked to see if the fuse was blown? It can be accessed for change with the car on a lift. Just a question regarding the fuse so that I might better understand the operation. What would be the ...

Re: Now MR BEAN won’t charge!

An interesting question, factors work both ways. Lower power levels on L1. But much less up time for the charger on L2 Perhaps if everyone with a failure could give their most common charge voltage, a pattern will emerge. Aerowhatt I am presenting the following as a thought experiment. Other may ch...

Re: Now MR BEAN won’t charge!

J bought my 2012 with 50,000 km (30,000 miles) on it so I don't know its history. For the past two years I have been charging it only from 120V at the L1 (8A?) rate. It would be interesting to see if there is any correlation between predominantly used charging rate and charger failures. Are higher c...

Re: Troubleshooting and repair for On-board Charger, DC-DC Converter

I bought my 2012 used with 50,000 km (30,000 miles) on it so I don't know its history.

For the past 2 years I have been charging it only on 120 V L1 (8 amperes?).

I was curious what rate the cars with charger failures have primarily been charged with.
