Re: Traction battery going bad or something else?

Anyone know if replacing the main battery pack resets the warranty on the battery? Or do you only get the remaining life of the warranty? I called today and the dealer don't know if the new battery pack is brand new or refurbished. He confirmed that the warranty period is not reset though. This que...

Re: Failed traction battery. How many weeks does Mitsubishi make you wait?

It was cold when I brought it back. I didn't use electric heat at all. I doubt I would have made it using electric heat. My dash was lit up with the amber exclamation light and traction control lights as well. The dealer offered me my car back to use as I wait for approval... but it's not them driv...

Re: I Saw a Nissan Leaf 2018

The design of the new Leaf reminds me very much of the current Honda Fit/Jazz - especially from the rear looking down the car. In fact, when I think about what the Euro Civic used to look like a few generations ago, it could easily be a new Civic, where the real new Civic has become less of a hatchb...

Re: Want one, but cautious. Opinions please.

The Smart is also not available with CHAdeMO at all. The boot is tiny, seats dont fold, and its a all bonded together with glue etc... so it's more of a toy/ fashion piece. Also, when I looked at one, the quality of the rubberized trim was poor, already peeling off a 2 year old one. Much less utilit...

Re: 2nd Gen Tesla Roadster

I'd be willing to bet that that car will never make it to production with those specs... but happy to be proven wrong. Great design, i'll say that though.

I'm surprised that road tyres are even produced that can handle that amount of acceleration and speed.

Re: A bill in congress to stifle EV's and alternative energy generally

Well, at least Scotland had the sense to tell our fearless leader to "drop dead" when he threw a tantrum over an off-shore wind farm a few years back. Politics aside, it was funny. https://www.treehugger.com/energy-policy/donald-trump-throws-tantrum-over-wind-power-scotland.html https://w...

^ Can't disagree, and as an outsider it's all very insular and backward - but suffice to say, it doesn't mean that the bill gets passed.

... 'Make America Great Again' - the only problem with that is where they measured the baseline.

Re: Back-In Parking

^ a much more sensible approach to parking, especially is the main road through a town is also the one that you need to park on - which is probably more common in the US than most other places come to think of it. Safer too, as you can load your shopping into the car from the sidewalk/ pavement, and...
