Windscreen washer bottle

Hi all, A silly question resulting from a stupid moment! I had a small shunt / prang the other day, which was mostly my bad. No real damage done, and cosmetics easily repaired with a heat gun persuasion of the bumper and a bit of spray paint. *But* and this is a big but, the windscreen washer bottle...

Re: Hi from new owner of an old car

I read somewhere that the accepted requirements were 70% of capacity at 8 years, but Mitsu later changed it to 10 in the US. Not sure if this applies in Oz though, as Mitsu withdrew it pretty soon after launching it, and I'm not even sure it was technically a launch or just a "trial".

Re: GENTLEMEN. I need help.

Newbie to the miev, so curious about the full charge issue. I don't use my car every day, as I work at different sites and sometimes public transport is more convenient. So, what the deal with charging? I've been leaving the car full in case I need it in unforeseen circumstances. Is this risking har...

Re: Volkswagen e-Golf

The E-Golf is getting there. The upcoming model is 35kw/h, though I've hoped they've made improvements in efficiency as well, as the original 24kwh version had shorter range than the 24kwh Gen 1.5 Leaf. Personally I'd like to see the E-up get a denser battery (24kw/h maybe) and a more realistic pric...

Re: Highway cruising

I've had the Ion around 95kmh on rural roads, and it feels OK, but 80-90kmh is comfortable. No motorways around here. No rush :) Just enjoy the serene silence of the EV!

Re: Mitsubishi website

I wonder what this means for the Peugeot Partner / Citroen Berlingo Electrique compact vans? They use the Imiev drivetrain (with 22.5kwh battery packs no less!) and I believe PSA have a fleet contracts with several utility companies and government bodies in the EU for significant numbers. I think Mi...

Re: 2016 Mitsubishi iMiev - Exterior and Interior Walkaround

I really really wish they'd update the instruments with a more conventional analogue display (use the Mirage as a template, just swap tacho for power consumption/regen, and the "eco" indicator with an analogue SOC gauge), simplify/de-clutter the heating/ac controls and borrow the door trim...

Re: I Miev not in Mitsubishi's Future

It says "no new i-MiEV successor ", i.e. the i-MiEV is not being replaced at this time. If anything, that (weakly) suggests that it will continue as is. This seems to have been the "strategy" (if that is what you'd call it) with the iMiev from the start. In 5+ years, we've got s...
