Re: 2011 iMiev

I know you can with the North American version (2012 to 2017) through the use of a small remote that comes with these cars.

Re: Kandi K27. Another I-MIEV Like Car?

I'm a fan of small cars, became hooked on my Saab's FWD, and was intrigued when I first saw the Kandi writeups; however, that top speed of 63mph and 70mph immediately disqualified it for us: most of our trips entail hopping onto a freeway... I think Mitsubishi hit the sweet spot with our i-MiEV's 8...

Kandi K27. Another I-MIEV Like Car?

Kandi America is about to release a couple electric cars for sale in the US. The least expensive model is the K27 which is almost exactly like the I-miev except for motor size. Re: iMiEV as workhorse

Your place looks good Joe! I'm going to have to start doing the same considering how close these wildfires are getting every year. I'm been thinking. The best plants to have around in our area might be cactus plants! They don't take much water and they don't look very flammable. I have some prickly ...

Re: Blink Charging Network

All this talk about Blink is interesting because I bought a used Blink EVSE model WE-30CKRE on Craigslist. I bought it because I thought the built-in timer would be easier to use (easier than our remote. ) Then I did some checking online and found there's been a history with people having rel...

Re: Blink Charging Network

BLINK earned an awful reputation as a result of carpetbagging founders and the extended bankruptcy period with zero maintenance of the subpar equipment, but since the rush to repair before their IPO two years ago, it has definitely been the most reliable L2 and DCFC option in the Seattle region... ...

I guess I was missing the point. If there's a leak, then it's like an ice car anyway.

Re: What is needed amount of coolant for conditioner?

Most ice cars today have compressors with mechanical shaft seals that leak refrigerant all the time and most mechanics can do a good job at guessing how much refrigerant to add with a little experience. But with our hermetic or semi-hermetic compressors which are completely sealed, weighing in the c...
