Re: Widening Takata airbag recall

I received the 'Safety Recall' notice today for both cars - It's for the passenger side airbag and not the drivers though. Time required to do the change is only 0.5 hours Same here. Since my closest iMiEV certified dealer is now 100 miles away Surprisingly, not only did I recently gain a Mitsubish...

Re: Leaf Gen 1 clearance sale -- $10K off

2016 models are also eligible. I just looked up local prices on cars.com, and I think I could get a Leaf for free after rebate and credits. Although I'm not completely sure on all the tax credits. Edit: Scratch that, my state's EV tax credit program is depleted. :( But under $4K is still pos...

Leaf Gen 1 clearance sale -- $10K off

That's effectively what this is, but they're doing it in a weird way -- Nissan is partnering with various electrical companies, and offering a $10,000 subsidy to their customers if they buy a new 2017 Leaf. Note that you can also still claim full federal and state tax credits, if applicable. Here's ...

The TPP had yet to take effect, so, no.

Re: Power consumption for balancing the battery ??

Range anxiety aside, is it not true that the car doesn't really charge to 100%, and there's no real reason to withhold the "full" charge?

Have you tried pre-heating?

You might also try the seat heater, if you have it.
