If I remember right his car made a positive capacity adjustment, not negative.
The positive adjustment comes from discharging to lower voltage for the same SoC

Voltage for 1 bar

My iMiev just passed 135 000 km last Monday, and still doing great. I tested with EvBatMon in September and got a reading of 67,92% batterycapacity left. However, I believe the rest capacity is higher - maybe up to 75%. I think the BMS was reset when I changed the 12V battery in January and the BMS ...

MUT III tool experience

Anyone with experience and guidance for buying a MUT III tool? I just had an experience with the yellow error light turning on - probably because of weak 12 V battery. I drove the car for 2-3 days and it locked up. Not possible to start, not possible to charge. The dealer wanted $50 to read the erro...

Re: EVBatMon Readings

You don't fill it lost all that capacity because when new the car doesn't use all its capacity (car stops with 0, 0 % Soc but with high voltage in the cell, surelly over 3,6 V). Malm, you think this is the way that iMiev hides capacity in the first years? If you are right then the CellVoltage as a ...

Re: Traction battery warranty extended to 10 years in Portug

Extended warranty for the traction battery is the important thing for me. My iMiev was registred February 2011 so I hope it is an world-wide warranty extension.

Fantastic!

I hope this applies in Norway also. It makes it easier to own an more-than-5-years-old iMiev.

Where did you get the information from? And what did the information tell you?

Model year & Mileage - 2011 / 106 000 km Did the car serve your routine needs or not - yes, definely. I have mostly parked my Toyota Landcruiser diesel. Did the car - come short or surpassed your expectations? - It met my expectations Pleasant Surprise - 1) Nice to drive (all automatic, no noise...

Re: How come D mode consumes more energy on a given load?

At any given speed and identical wind and terrain conditions, the i-MiEV requires the same amount of power, irrespective of whether it's in D , Eco , or B . For any given acceleration and identical wind and terrain conditions, the i-MiEV requires the same amount of power, irrespective of whether it...

Re: How come D mode consumes more energy on a given load?

I always use B when I need all the power in the batteries. It is just an impression, but I think B consumes less energy than D for a given trip. It is difficult to prove scientifically since a lot of parameters will vary between two different trips. But my - and other Norwegian iMiev drivers - impre...
