Re: Marketing the USED I-MIEV

OK MIEVers, here is the story. We sold the Mitzi the 2012 SE Premium plus and her charger, winter wheels and tires. It is all gone! She went in 2 weeks. She was advertised in Autotrader (regular ad), Kijiji, St. Albert Gazette (4 issues) and the Edmonton Journal (7 issues). One of the issues with I-...

Marketing the USED I-MIEV

Ok Listers who are the customers for a used imiev?? How do you market one to get more than the 5 to 8 grand seen on this list. I am in Canada and in an area where they were not readily available and not sold. I had to import mine in from the USA as a new car with the tax credits previously stripped ...

Wanted to buy Remote Key Fob

We have a 2012 Mitsubishi I-Miev SE that came with all the options that I bought for my wife back in 2014. She promptly lost the remote key fob. Anyone got one for sale? send me a direct e-mail to tya2@4-fly.net with a phone number and a best time to call. This advert will be removed when I have bou...

Need the remote control for the heater/ac

My wife admits she lost the key fob, remote control for the air conditioning / heater control. Anyone know what the technical term is for this gadget? Got one for sale? Do they have to be dealer programmed or are they self recognizing.? If anyone has bought one where did you get it?

Re: Canadian Recall work done at non i-Miev Mitsubishi deale

Update March 4th, I called the Mitsubishi dealer and he says the parts for the undercarriage recall are still on back order!. It has been 3 and a half months so far and the parts are still not available. Why if the recall is ordered by the company or NTSB or Transport Canada don't they have the part...

I-MIEV as a UNICORN, only 109 2014s sold in Canada

Todays Edmonton Journal lists 10 rarest cars sold in Canada. Number 6 was the 2014 I-Miev with 109 sold, the Nissan Leaf was listed at 1028 units. Number 5 was the Dodge Viper SRt at 107 units. It was interesting to see they sold as many as they did because they spent zero dollars on advertising and...

Re: Canadian Recall work done at non i-Miev Mitsubishi deale

January 20,2015 and we are still waiting for Mitsubishi to ship our dealer Northside Mitsubishi in Edmonton the parts to complete the undercarriage recall. Northside says the required parts are backordered until late February 2015. This is not impressive, if you are recalling a product you should or...

Re: Canadian Recall work done at non i-Miev Mitsubishi deale

More on the saga of Mitzi and her recalls. Today January 5th, 2015 I had a call from Mitsubishi Canada saying the parts for the recall were on order from the USA and they would call me when they arrive in Edmonton. This process has been going on for more than a month, and so far has involved two tri...

Re: Canadian Recall work done at non i-Miev Mitsubishi deale

Actually when I bought my I-Miev they were Canadian dealers within driving distance (15 miles) who sold I-Mievs. They simply could not be bothered to bring in any to sell. They were authorized dealers who said, I don't have any, I don't want any, and I don't want to see any! They sold 2 or 3 and wou...
