Re: TPMS and nail in tire

Unfortunately, I WAS stranded in the cold this past Monday when I got a flat on my front driver's side tire. I tried using the tire repair kit, but the damage was too severe. All I got was a puddle of tire sealant on the pavement and a still-flat tire. I called Mitsu Roadside Assistance. My Meepster...

"Tire Repair Kit" profiteering!

This past Monday evening, I got a flat on my front driver's side tire. I attempted to use the so-called "tire repair kit" that comes with the iMiEV (rather than an actual spare). The damage was apparently too severe for the repair kit as all it did was leave a giant puddle of sealant on th...

Re: Front tire wear

I am just now having all 4 tires on my Meepster replaced. Purchased her new in July 2013. She currently has 35.5K miles on her. I noticed the inside tread of the front tires wearing out quite a while ago. However, I'm only just now getting around to replacing the tires due to necessity. Got a flat t...

Re: Steering Wheel Thumb Control Issues!

Yes I had experimented this situation 2 times, so strange that all controls seems to be mixed. I've turned off the car and turned on again and then it was ok. Sometimes just turning the stereo's power off and on again will clear the issue. However, most of the time I have to completely shut off the...

Re: Can I put it safely into neutral while moving?

Frequently, when backing my Meepster out of the driveway or out of a parking space, I will throw it into drive before I've come to a complete stop. The iMiEV just regen/slows itself to a stop and then immediately starts going forward. Kinda neat, actually!

Re: Efficient Driving in the iMiEV

I used to run the gates. As I would approach a stop, I would bump up into N and coast for as long as I could. Then I'd drop down into D, then Eco, and finally B for the progressively more aggressive regen. I'd wait until the last moment possible to finally use the service brake to come to a complete...

Re: Efficient Driving in the iMiEV

Even braking hard with just regen (B mode pegging the needle) is significantly less efficient. Do you drive exclusively in one mode most of the time? If so, which? I used to run the gates when I first got my Meepster; always trying to eek out every drop of efficiency I could. After several months o...

Steering Wheel Thumb Control Issues!

Anyone else having issues with the volume up/down buttons on the steering wheel? I would say probably 1 out of every 3 times I start my Meepster and listen to the radio/Bluetooth device, my volume buttons get all wonky. I have only ever noticed my issues when using my iPhone over the Bluetooth (sinc...

Re: Canion

I have the Auto Close setting enabled on my Canion. I also use the "AutoSleeper" app to automatically put my tablet into standby mode when the power is turned off. AutoSleeper is on a 5-second delay before it puts the tablet into standby, though. I assume that gives Canion enough time to p...

Re: Canion

Next question: is there anyway to set Canion to always open in the "zoomed" mode? You know, where you double-tap the screen and it zooms in? I would prefer to have that zoom view as my default whenever Canion starts. It's not a big problem, as it's easy enough to double-tap the screen, but...
