Getting a new one from Mitsubishi would take 45 days+ and costly. If you'd even consider selling yours I'd offer you an attractive price and much gratitude...

Re: Selling remote charger control

Hi Harry...

If you still have your remote control I'd love to have it and could give you a good price.

Re: My least favorite feature

Fri Dec 20, 2019 6:34 am The "low temperature" chime. Every time it goes off (for the first time in a while), I'm like "Ack! What's wrong with the car?" before I realize "Oh, it's cold outside. Thanks, I knew that."" Doesn't bother me. I find that feature slightly ...

Re: Battery Replacement - Lessons Learned

"Congrats on a good experience, BarryP and Docjr. That $6k quote on a replacement battery is the lowest price I've heard yet, and is certainly within the realm of practicality." ---------------- Hey.... somehow I missed that. Where did BarryP and Docjr get a $6K quote on a battery? Last in...

Recent recall for brake vacuum pump. Issue of distant dealership.

Those of you in the USA probably got this notice. I got it two days ago in standard postal mail. Short version: They believe the original brake vacuum pump can fail from corrosion, leaving the driver with a sudden surprise of having no power brakes. (And that is a shocker.. surprising how hard you h...

Re: What tire would you recommend?

I bought four YOKOHAMA ICEGUARD IG20 tires from tirerack for a total (with tax) of $240. Then Yokohama turned around and mailed me a $60 VISA debit card. I had a local shop put them on for $80 two weeks ago. They look like great tires for the winter here. They have been driving quiet. Some mileage ...

Re: Battery Replacement - Lessons Learned

Hello, I own Mitsubishi I-Miev 2012 16 KW. I live in North County near San Diego. My vehicle stills shows 16-bars, but I'm noticing less distance for same charge. I have to make a decision soon as to replacing the battery or selling it now while I can still get something for it. So my question is a...

Re: Power the house with MiEV battery?

Hi PV1. You wrote... "...cabin heater in the i-MiEV runs directly off the main battery, ..." I ,m confident you know more about the MiEV traits that I do. And I’m curious about that statement: If I remember right the main panel ready and set a very high voltage. Something like 330 V. I'd f...
