Re: Update from 1 DIN to 2 DIN for Citroen C-Zero & Peugeot Ion

Well, I see it's an old theme, but I believe still interesting. I just installed an Chinese 2DIN radio to my Peugeot Ion. It works perfectly (nav, back camera, video, music, bt phone, apps, etc., except the Canion. The unit just can't pair to the OBDlink LX. Maybe I should just note that Citroen and...

Re: New I-MiEV's --- Maybe, maybe not

New 2016 C-Zero and Ion are still available in Europe for 19.400€ or more with many improvements regarding 2012-13 model.

Is with 80 or 88 cells?

It's year 2012, so definitely 88 cells. 80 Cells are included since jan. 2015.

Henrik, what was the price?

Re: 300m ChaDeMo trip: slow with fewer or fast with more cha

Hi all My question is this - if chargers are spaced approx 30 miles apart, which strategy will result in the shortest travel time A) driving fast (65-70 mph), stopping at every charger and charging to 80% B) driving slow (55 mph), stopping every 50-60 miles and charging to full Daan I believe the m...

Re: Battery Failure Data

I do. My friend's coworker just got a new C-Zero with 80 cells. The most important differences are smaller pack (14,5 kWh) and prolonged warranty 8 years/100.000 km like you have. He lives only 70 km away, so I can drive there and check whatever you need to be checked and post here. So let me know, ...

Re: Battery optimization

620 Wh is the most common value, I think. I think with a new one we should see that value. And in a new one the weakest cell will be around 3,5 / 3,6 V at 0,0% of SoC. My friends C-Zero, year 2011, 14.000 km, averaged 148Wh per 1% SOC, so his value for 5% is 740Wh. I don't know about 50% SOC voltag...

Re: Battery optimization

I also notice a drop of about 15% of range. Mine now with 84.000 km and almost 5 years. Can you tell me how much it charges from 50% to 55%, seen by Canion? Mine charges about 540 Wh. I'l let you know but last time i measured this value, it was 62 Wh in average for 0,5 SoC so 50-55 620 Wh should go...

Re: Citroen C Zero v Renault Zoe.

£70pm up to 7500 miles a year, or £45pm up to 3000 miles a year. That's for a purchase price of £13445. Comparable sized EVs without battery lease are considerably more expensive. As I said, I'm only looking at various options at present. And my reasons for considering an EV aren't just economic. I...

Re: Citroen C Zero v Renault Zoe.

John, what about Zoe's battery rental costs? I believe in UK also you can't buy but only lease the battery. If so, I would make a calculation about profitability. The price of monthly battery rental and electricity cost is at least 8€/100 km. That makes driving Zoe far more expensive as any small di...

Battery optimization

Technical "expert" at Citroen told me I should visit my dealer to do a battery optimization. He explained that every couple of years every c-zero should be connected to a tester, which needs about four hours to finish the process. He claimed that range and battery health should improve sig...
