Re: Anyone tried wrapping iMiev with glossy vinyl?

Hi Folks; There's a post earlier in this thread about the longevity of vinyl wraps. I have that shiny silver/chrome colored one mentioned above. I am now going through my third winter here in Oregon - snow and rain (mostly rain). I have had only a little lifting around the front wheel well. Other th...

Re: Aerodynamic Mods to Reduce Drag

Hi jray3; Thanks for the response. I know the "crinkled" noise. Yes, mine makes the same noise. But I sure do like the look. The disks I'm using are the same spun stainless. However, when i look at the stock plastic hubcaps, and the stainless ones, I notice that the shoulder on the plastic...

Re: Aerodynamic Mods to Reduce Drag

Hi JoeS; These caps are just ordinary 15-inch hubcaps I found on E-bay. But I have had a problem with keeping them on! lol. And I only have that problem on the driver's side front wheel. I have thrown 2 of them off the car when going over potholes at speed. I have no problems with the other t...

Re: Anyone tried wrapping iMiev with glossy vinyl?

Here is an pic taken while the car was being wrapped at Kolorwerks. Notice the attention to detail. Kevin removed the lights, hood, door handles so he could wrap the vinyl into the cavities, and the wrap tight. Nice job. Not cheap. Re: Anyone tried wrapping iMiev with glossy vinyl?

Hello; About one year ago, I had a vinyl wrap done on my I-Miev. Kolorwerx, here in Portland, Oregon did the wrap, and Kevin did an outstanding job. I could not pick a "favorite color", so I went with pure silver chrome-like. Several people in parking lots have asked me if t...

Re: LED Lighting

Trying to replace incandescent lamps with LEDs in all my light. But the taillight/brake light bulb does not seem to be accesible. I take off the taillight housing, and only see wire going to the taillight/brake light. And I can't find a way to get the bulb out. Anyone know how to do that? Thanks, Ma...

Re: LED Lighting

Modification to my last post about "cyclops" lights replaced with LEDs. When I replaced all four lamp in the cyclops light, I started getting warnings from my antilock brake system via the warning light on the dash. I brought my I-Miev into to the Mitsu dealer in Vancouver, Washington. (Hi...

Re: LED Lighting

Hello again; and hello to "tigger", Thanks for your posts. I already replaced my "cyclops light" lamps with LEDs from Superbrite LEDs. (I am NOT a paid spokesman. :D But I have bought from them before. LOL) I replaced the standard model # 921 lamps with Part Number: 921-RHP9-T UP...
